Some complete, sort of, and some just bodies. A mix of AFX, Magnum 440 and TCR (which aren’t technically ‘slot’ cars). Interesting old stuff, albeit a tad dusty. Any others I once had I gave away to my nephew years ago along with all of the track and controllers; knowing my sister he probably never got a chance to play with the stuff, and since it wasn’t all new and shiny and expensive she probably dumped in the garbage as soon as they got home.

My mom text us about some train track stuff that she found in her basement, I said I wasn’t interested. When I went to visit it was whatever Tyco slot track I had and a few RR tracks. I took all the slot track stuff, and left the few RR pieces.

I then went to eBay and bought a couple sets of track. Pieced them together and all tge track pieces need a light sanding, and the cars need new pickup shoes (contact pieces with electrified track).

I set it all a side for now until my boy gets a bit older & he can enjoy it with me.

If you look closely you’ll see a kidney grille. It kind of looks like a mix of e9 and e21 Group 5 cars with square light conversion ( yes, that was a thing back in the day ).

I think KnowsAboutCars has a pretty good description. I was thinking that it’s modeled on this E21 Group 5 car based on the logo on the hood. The TCR cars, like this one and the Pantera, were not detailed very well, hence the square lights and generally odd proportions.

The technology of TCR was interesting, allowing you to change lanes, although the cars did get slammed to the outside of every turn regardless of which lane they were in. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Total_Con… for more information.
